How to Play

Drag your pieces according to their specific movement rules. Pawns move ahead one square, but take diagonally. Castles slide freely in a straight line. Knights jump in an L-pattern, ignoring other pieces. Bishops move diagonally any number of squares. The Monarch combines the moves of a Castle and Clergyman. The Ruler moves one square in all directions. Protect your King at all costs to avoid checkmate. Take opponent pieces by landing on their square. Check the opponent's King by attacking it directly. Triumph by placing the opponent's King in a position with no escape. Engage against the computer or a friend in alternating moves. Strategize your moves carefully to defeat your opponent.
